Amanda is a graduate of NYC’s Natural Gourmet Institute and a former line cook at famed Michelin Star restaurant Gramercy Tavern. As kitchen manager at a cheese store in San Diego, Amanda fell in love with the world of cheese, charcuterie and entertaining. After getting to know Los Angeles through years of high-end event catering, Amanda found new space for culinary creativity in recipe developing, testing, and food styling. She developed recipes for Tasty for over two years, as well as cannabis-infused recipes for KIVA Confections. At Tasty, Amanda worked with high-profile talent such as Chef Marcus Samuelsson and reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny. “I cannot say enough great things about Amanda (And neither could my guests once they tasted her food!). Even before the big day, she was so creative and engaging when designing the perfect menu for my event. She does it all- from appetizers to desserts and meat dishes to seafood to vegan options. The day of the event she was perfectly punctual and delightfully tidy. It makes such a difference when throwing a party to know you have someone who you can trust, especially to handle such an important aspect—Amanda was that person for me. I will never throw another party without her!”

“I find food just so exciting! From chatting with farmers about upcoming harvests to learning about old-world techniques and ingredients, I am fascinated by all aspects of the culinary world. I’m so lucky to be part of a profession that lets me share knowledge, while constantly learning new skills.”
